New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) is a public airport serving Gwadar, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is the largest airport in Pakistan by area, occupying 4,300 acres (17 km2) of land, and the second greenfield airport in Pakistan after Islamabad International Airport. Located in Gorandani, 26 kilometres (16 mi) north-east of the former Gwadar International Airport on the south-western Arabian Sea coast of Balochistan, NGIA was constructed at a cost of Rs66 billion, funded primarily as a grant by China, with participation from Pakistan and Oman.
